THE
FOUNDATION.
Governance Model & Long-Term Stewardship
Data infrastructure should not be owned by a private monopoly. Our mission is to treat corporate registry data as a public utility—available to all, verified by cryptographic proof, and sustained by a high-fidelity paid layer. The Central.Enterprises Foundation exists to protect this mission from market pressures that typically lead to data enclosure.
By decoupling the Open Data Standard (the protocol) from the Verification Layer (the commercial service), we create a sustainable ecosystem. The Foundation holds the IP for the schema, the domain, and the open datasets, ensuring they remain CC0 forever. The commercial arm funds the heavy computation and API maintenance required to keep the system live.
Status: In Formation (Registry Phase)
The "Central.Enterprises Foundation" is currently undergoing the rigorous registration process with the Spanish Ministry of Justice's Foundations Registry. This process ensures strict compliance with EU non-profit laws. During this interim period, the platform is legally operated by Pablo Cirre as a steward, acting under a binding "Deed of Trust" to transfer all assets. Upon official inscription, all assets, including the domain, the dataset copyrights, and the trademark, will formally transfer to the Foundation's endowment.
Strategic Roadmap 2026-2027
-
Q1 2026: Legal Registration &
Statutes
Completion of the Foundation's statutes and initial endowment registration in Granada, Spain. Establishing the Board of Trustees. -
Q2 2026: Standard v2.0
(Beneficial Ownership)
Expansion of the JSON schema to include beneficial ownership signals (UBO), increasing transparency on corporate control structures while respecting GDPR. -
Q3 2026: Automated
Cryptographic Proofs
Implementation of daily Merkle Tree snapshots of the registry. These cryptographic proofs will be posted to public immutable logs (e.g., Arweave or IPFS) to guarantee data integrity. -
Q4 2026: The "Federated
Registry" Pilot
Launching the first decentralized mirrors of the Central.Enterprises dataset, allowing universities and NGOs to host verified replicas of the global company graph.
